Occupational therapist & Founder of RewireOT
Jason is an Occupational Therapist out of St. Louis, Missouri that specializes in the treatment of youth and young adult Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and chronic pain conditions.
He graduated with a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 2011. Jason began treating FND early in his career through engagement in the Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome (AMPS) program at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He then helped initiate the development of treatment protocols and resources for FND and chronic pain conditions at Our Children's House at Baylor, Dallas Children's hospital and St. Louis Children's hospital. Since, he has collaborated on FND and chronic pain resource creation, program/process improvement and advocacy for the role Occupational Therapy plays in multi-disciplinary care at an institution and international level.
Jason is currently the co-chair of the FND Society Pediatric Committee, focusing on community awareness and education, and Founding Member of the FND Society. He started the first multi-disciplinary FND committee at St. Louis Children's Hospital with the goal to improve pediatric inpatient care. He lectured on "The role of OT in pediatric FND care" at the 2024 FND Society International Conference and various FND Society educational series including: FND-Putting Principles into Practice and FND-Rehab 101. Currently Jason is leading a project, in collaboration with the FND Society, to write pediatric FND consensus recommendations for OT and PT.
Jason created the website RewireOT.com in April of 2025 with the goal of progressing FND awareness and care. Since then, RewireOT officially opened as a stand-alone outpatient clinic in January of 2026 in Ellisville, Missouri providing Occupational Therapy specializing on treatment of FND, chronic pain, and other comorbid diagnosis such as dysautonomia, hypermobility and sensory dysregulation.
